These standards describe how Plotory works to prevent and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to all users, content, plots, groups, announcements, comments, chats, and media on Plotory. We have zero tolerance for CSAE and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Plotory strictly prohibits:
Plotory is for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Date of birth is used to enforce the minimum age. If we learn that an under-13 user created an account, we will disable the account and delete or anonymize associated personal data as appropriate.
Users who have not reached the age of majority should use Plotory only with a parent or guardian's permission where required by applicable law. Plotory does not provide anonymous or random stranger chat: users must have an account, and coordination chat is tied to a specific plot and its participants.
Plotory maintains measures appropriate to its social and user-generated-content features:
If you encounter content or behavior that may involve a child's exploitation or abuse, report it immediately:
We prioritize child-safety reports and act as promptly as reasonably possible based on severity, available information, and legal obligations.
When Plotory obtains actual knowledge of CSAM or child exploitation, we take appropriate action under these standards and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
Users should use caution with people they do not already know. Minors should involve a parent or guardian in plans with unfamiliar people, avoid sharing private contact or location information unnecessarily, meet only in appropriate public settings with trusted supervision, and leave or seek help if a situation feels unsafe.
