What Data May Be Retained
In limited circumstances, some data may be retained:
- Legal and transaction records: Data required for tax, accounting, purchase validation, disputes, or other legal duties may be retained for the applicable statutory or limitation period
- Safety and fraud prevention: Reports and information related to violations may be retained where reasonably necessary to protect users and prevent repeat abuse
- Aggregated analytics: Anonymous, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained
- Historical community context: Some content or attendance records may remain without your former profile identity where deletion would disrupt shared event or conversation history
Important Notes
- In-App Purchases: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions. Please cancel subscriptions through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store before deleting your account.
- Groups and public plots: Shared community spaces are not necessarily deleted solely because your account is deleted. Personal/private containers are removed, and remaining historical material is anonymized where applicable.
- Shared content: Content you shared in groups may remain visible to group members even after your account is deleted, but your name will be removed or anonymized.
